Interventions

During the treatment of patients who come in for routine dental procedures,in addition to the tell-show-do method, behavior management will be provided using the distraction method with music selected

5 Years to 11 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1- Children aged 5-11, 2- Those with ASA scores of 1 or 2, 3- Patients without hearing problems, 4- Those rated 3 or 4 on the Frankl behavior scale, 5- Those with at least one decayed lower molar tooth, 6- Those who have not previously undergone dental procedures, 7- Children who are intellectually capable of completing the anxiety scale, 8- Children who voluntarily agree to participate in the study, 9- Children whose parents consent to their participation in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1- Those not in the 5-11 age range, 2- Those with an ASA score greater than 2, 3- Patients with hearing problems, 4- Children with acute dental pain, 5- Those rated 1 or 2 on the Frankl behavior scale, 6- Those without an indication for restorative treatment on at least one lower deciduous molar tooth, 7- Those who have previously undergone dental procedures under local anesthesia, 8- Those with a phobia of animals such as cats/dogs, 9- Children with cognitive or systemic diseases.
