Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1 Patients aged 18 to 70 years undergoing colonoscopy at the Nantana Kriangkrai Chotiwatthanaphan Institute of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. 2 Scheduled for colonoscopy based on medical indications from the Internal Medicine Clinic, Internal Medicine Inpatient Building. 3 Willing to voluntarily provide informed consent to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with contraindications to oral intake, such as gastric outlet obstruction or intestinal obstruction. 2. Patients with poorly controlled underlying diseases (e.g., cardiovascular disease, chronic renal disease, etc.) with an ASA physical status classification of III or IV. 3. Patients with hemodynamic instability. 4. Individuals with a history of allergy to herbal extracts in the ginger family (e.g., ginger extract, Zingiberaceae). 5. Individuals with a history of allergy to polyethylene glycol. 6. Patients with acute lower gastrointestinal bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease, or a history of prior colorectal surgery. 7. Patients with cognitive impairment or psychiatric disorders that may interfere with assessment, altered consciousness, or inability to communicate. 8. Patients with severe dysphagia requiring nasogastric or gastrostomy tube feeding. 9. Pregnant women.
