conventional thrice weekly hemodialysis with middle cut-off dialyzer with same hemodialysis prescription for 8 weeks,thrice weekly hemodiafiltration with dialyzer with high flux dialyzer with same hem

Age

18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. receiving thrice-weekly HD at Srinagarind Hospital for more than 3 months 2. adequate HD (spKt/V > 1.2 per session) for a minimum of three months 3. using an arteriovenous fistula or graft (AVF or AVG) as vascular access 4. proficient in communicating and completing questionnaires in the Thai language

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. pregnancy 2. contraindications to Ol-HDF 3. history of severe dialyzer allergy 4. advanced stage cancer or cardiovascular disease 5. severe comorbidities with an expected survival of less than one year 6. recent severe infection or hospitalization within the previous three months 7. inability to complete the QoL assessments.
