Age
18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18-65 years old 2. Unilateral sudden sensorineural hearing loss of at least 30dB for 3 contiguous frequencies. 3 Normal auditory brainstem response or MRI result.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Diabetes Mellitus 2. Peptic ulcer 3. Middle or Inner ear diseases 4. Genetic-related hearing loss 5. History of ear surgery 6. Time to onset of more than 14 days 7. Prior treatment with corticosteroids in any form 8. Loss of follow up 9. Side effects from medications which disable the volunteer from continuing the medication 10. Medication non-adherence
