Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18-80 years. 2.Patients undergoing Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) with at least one of the following indications: 2.1 Persistent metabolic abnormalities (e.g., severe metabolic acidosis, hyperkalemia) refractory to intermittent hemodialysis. 2.2 Cerebral edema or risk of cerebral edema (e.g., acute liver failure, acute stroke, hypoxic-ischemic brain injury post-cardiac arrest). 2.3 Fluid overload refractory to medical therapy or intermittent hemodialysis, particularly fluid accumulation > 10% of baseline body weight. 2.4 Requirement for continuous control of fluid, acid-base, and electrolyte balance. 3. Patients requiring mechanical ventilation. 4. Serum phosphorus levels between 2.5 and 5.5 mg/dL within 48 hours of CRRT initiation.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Moribund state by the treating physicians to have a low probability of survival within 24 hours. 2. Volunteers who have received a kidney transplant. 3. Pregnant volunteers.
