Conditions

Participants: End-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy Hemodialysis, Psychological well-being, Hemoglobin, health locus of control, Resilience

Interventions

Patients aged 18 years or older with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) who have been receiving hemodialysis 2-3 times per week for at least 3 months at Samut Prakan Hospital.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18 years or older 2. Estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) < 15 ml/min/1.73m2 3. Undergoing maintenance hemodialysis for a minimum of 3 months 4. Receiving hemodialysis treatments 2-3 times weekly 5. Able to communicate, read, and write in the Thai language

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Cognitive impairment 2. Presence of uremic symptoms 3. History of psychiatric illness, including schizophrenia or mood disorders 4. History of malignancy of any type, infectious diseases, or conditions associated with dyspnea, including but not limited to heart failure, tuberculosis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
