Participants consume a regular cookie (commercially available crispy cookie) 2 times per day.,Participants consume high-protein plant-based cookies enriched with L-Theanine and GABA extracts 2 times

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Sensory Acceptance Test 1. Male or female, Thai nationality, aged equal or more than 50 years. 2. No sensory impairments (taste, smell, vision, or hearing) that could affect sensory evaluation. 3. Having low muscle strength, low muscle mass, or low physical performance in at least one indicator according to the Asian Working Group for Sarcopenia (AWGS) 2025 criteria. 4. Able to read and write Thai. 5. Willing to participate and comply with the study protocol. 6. Have prior experience consuming cookies. Clinical Outcome Study (Effect of Product Consumption on Clinical Health Changes) 1. Male or female, Thai nationality, aged equal or more than 50 years. 2. Having low muscle strength, low muscle mass, or low physical performance in at least one indicator according to the AWGS 2025 criteria. 3. Able to read and write Thai. 4. Not engaged in night-shift work.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Sensory Acceptance Test 1. History of food allergy to any ingredients in the developed cookie product. 2. Presence of severe illness or uncontrolled chronic disease that may affect safety or participation, such as: Requiring frequent hospitalization, Unable to perform activities of daily living independently, Uncontrolled medical conditions (e.g., severe heart failure, end-stage renal disease, or cancer under active treatment) 3.Current smokers and regular alcohol consumers (equal or more than 3 times/week). 4. Pregnant, planning to become pregnant within 6 months, or currently breastfeeding. Clinical Outcome Study (Effect of Product Consumption on Clinical Health Changes) 1. Participants will be excluded if they meet any of the following criteria: 2. History of food allergy to any ingredients in the developed cookie product. 3. Presence of severe illness or uncontrolled chronic disease that may affect safety or participation, such as: Requiring frequent hospitalization, Unable to perform activities of daily living independently, Uncontrolled medical conditions (e.g., severe heart failure, end-stage renal disease, or cancer under active treatment) 4. Current smokers and regular alcohol consumers (equal or more than 3 times/week). 5. Pregnant, planning to become pregnant within 6 months, or currently breastfeeding. 6. Currently receiving medications for sarcopenia or insomnia, or regularly using laxatives.
