Interventions

Participants will receive the single-rod contraceptive implantation using the ShotBlocker device. The device will be pressed firmly against the skin at the insertion site to elicit mechanical stimulat

13 Years to 50 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Clients receiving insertion of a single-rod contraceptive implant at the Family Planning Unit of Thammasat University Hospital 2. Aged 13 to 50 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Request removal of a previous contraceptive implant and insertion of a new implant during the same visit. 2. Dermatological issues, such as skin infections or lesions at the intended implant site. 3. Sensory impairment, such as peripheral neuropathy. 4. Psychiatric disorders 5. Do not provide consent to participate in the study.
