Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) 60 to 69 years old 2) The elderly who had or had not been diagnosed with hypertension 3) The elderly who had an average SBP greater than or equal to 140 mmHg or DBP greater than or equal to 90 mmHg. The average BP was measured at least three times at one-minute intervals and recorded as the average of the second and third measurements. 4) Willing to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Home and bed-bound elderly assessed using Activity Daily Living (ADL) screening test by sub-district health promotion hospitals 2) The elderly who had diabetes mellitus because it was leading to atherosclerosis, which can induce hypertension 3) The elderly who could not communicate in Thai or local languages such as the hill tribe elderly. 4) Having depression, assessed by the physician in the area 5) Having Alzheimer, assessed using Informant Questionnaire on Cognitive Decline in the Elderly (IQCODE) and assessed by the physician in the area 6) Participating in less than 80% of providing activities.
