Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 age 60 years or older 2 lived in the nursing home for at least 3 months 3 able to communicate and complete questionnaires in Indonesian 4 Mini Mental State Examination score 25 or higher 5 Athens Insomnia Scale score 8 or higher 6 willing to participate and provide informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 current use of sedative hypnotics or sleep medications 2 diagnosed severe psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder 3 unstable cardiovascular conditions such as arrhythmia heart failure or recent myocardial infarction 4 presence of implanted cardiac devices such as pacemakers 5 acute infection or severe systemic illness 6 ear infection injury or dermatological conditions affecting the auricle
