Ginger capsule (500 mg per capsule) two capsules three times after meals after allowed to sip water in intervention group,Administration placebo capsule two capsules three times after meals.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patient age more than 18 years old 2. Pateint who underwent elective total abdominal hysterectomy due to benign gynecologic condition with no complication 3. Able to speak, read and write Thai
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History allergic of ginger 2. Have gastroesophageal reflux disease or dyspepsia 3. Have chronic kidney disease more than stage 3 4. Have coagulopathy disorder 5. Finding malignancy intraoperation 6. Intraoperative blood loss more than 1,500 mL 7. On mechanical ventilator 8. Unable to use visual analogue scale (VAS) such as communication difficulities, psychiatic disorder or visual impairment. 9. Poor control diabetes melitus
