Patients with gallstones and common bile duct (CBD) stones after complete CBD stone clearance, focusing on biliary complications occurring while awaiting cholecystectomy, including recurrent CBD stones, acute cholangitis, acute cholecystitis, and gallstone pancreatitis. Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age 18 years or older 2.Patients who underwent ERCP with complete clearance of common bile duct stones 3.Patients who subsequently underwent cholecystectomy 4.Treatment performed at HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Medical Center, Srinakharinwirot University 5.Treatment period between 1 January 2020 and 31 December 2024
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Incomplete clearance of common bile duct stones after ERCP 2.Biliary stenting performed for other indications (e.g., biliary stricture or cholangiocarcinoma) 3.Patients without gallbladder stones 4.Biliary stent placement used as treatment for acute cholangitis rather than prophylaxis
