Respiratory health problems due to long-term exposure to traffic-related air pollution (TRAP) among traffic police officers. These health issues include increased risk of respiratory symptoms, reduced lung function, and possible long-term complications such as chronic bronchitis, asthma, and cardiovascular diseases. Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Traffic police officers currently serving at selected JSPT (Jabatan Siasatan dan Penguatkuasaan Trafik) stations in the Klang Valley. 2. Officers who are actively involved in outdoor traffic duties (e.g., directing traffic, patrolling, roadside checks).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Traffic police officers who are assigned exclusively to indoor or administrative duties. 2. Officers who are on long leave, medical leave, or scheduled for transfer during the study period. 3. Officers with known severe respiratory illness or disability that prevents the use of face coverings.
