Conditions

Radial artery occlusion is one of the complications of transradial catheterization. Prolonged compression with a TR band at the arteriotomy site can increase the risk of radial artery occlusion. We will use a TR band with adrenaline drops, which induce vasoconstriction and potentiate ADP-induced platelet aggregation and activation, to reduce the duration of radial artery compression. radial artery hemostasis, cardiac catheterization, TR band with adrenaline drops

Interventions

Before radial sheath removal, we use approximately 0.4 ml of adrenaline drops at the arteriotomy site and then inflate the TR band.,Before radial sheath removal, we inflate the TR band at the arteriot

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged 18 years or older 2. Underwent diagnostic or interventional cardiac catheterization via the radial artery at Burapha University Hospital 3. Fully conscious.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with sheaths larger than 6-F in diameter 2. long-term oral anticoagulation continued during the procedure 3. Ipsilateral arteriovenous fistula 4. Clinical instability 5. Barbeau class D on radial plethysmography 6. known vascular disease or deformity of the forearm 7. History of RAO at base line 8. Had developed vascular complications from the procedure 9. Failed to establish radial access.
