Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Be village health volunteers, either male or female, aged 35 years or older. 2. Meet the World Health Organization WHO criteria for obesity, with a body mass index BMI of 23 kg per square meter or higher. 3. Be capable of fully participating in all activities aimed at enhancing self-management throughout the study period. 4. Have stable pre-existing chronic conditions, with no adjustments to medication within the three months prior to the study. 5. Be able to communicate effectively and comprehend the language used in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosed cardiovascular disease or other severe medical conditions that may interfere with participation. 2. Unstable chronic conditions or changes in medication within the past three months. 3. Pregnant or breastfeeding. 4. Unable to participate fully in the self-management activities throughout the study period.
