Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Male inmates aged twenty years or older. 2. Individuals with good behavioral records and no serious disciplinary problems. 3. Individuals with at least a primary level of education. 4. Individuals classified at a middle or higher custody level within the correctional system. 5. Individuals with a minimum of one year remaining on their sentence. 6. Individuals who demonstrated motivation, leadership potential, and communication ability. 7. Individuals who expressed willingness to serve as Prison Public Health Volunteer Leaders. 8. Individuals who received formal approval from correctional health staff. 9. Individuals who agreed to actively participate in problem identification, participatory learning program implementation, and reflection throughout the study period.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria included severe physical illness, mental instability, disciplinary issues, inability to commit to full participation, or prior involvement in similar health leadership programs. Participants who developed serious illness or experienced health emergencies during the study were withdrawn to maintain safety, ethical integrity, and data quality.
