Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged 65 years and older 2. Undergoing total knee replacement, total hip replacement, or hip fracture surgery (elective or emergency) 3. Receiving general or regional anesthesia 4. Admitted to the hospital for at least 1 day postoperatively 5. Willing to participate and sign informed consent (or by legal representative)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who refuse to participate.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Accuracy of hs-Trop-T in predicting Perioperative Myocardial Injury (PMI) Within 48 hours post-operation (Day 1 and Day 2). Comparison of Area Under the Curve (AUC) between hs-Trop-T and RCRI score. PMI is defined as hs-Trop-T elevation 14 ng/L above baseline.

MeasureTime frame
Incidence of Perioperative Myocardial Injury (PMI) Within 48 hours post-operation. Percentage of patients with PMI.,30-day Major Adverse Cardiac Events (MACE) 30 days post-operation. Composite of myocardial ischemia, myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmia requiring treatment, stroke, and cardiac arrest.,30-day Mortality 30 days post-operation. All-cause death.
