Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with acute AC joint dislocation classified as Rockwood type III or V were eligible. Inclusion criteria included age between 18 and 55 years and absence of rotator cuff or conjoined tendon injury.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Polytrauma Open or chronic AC joint dislocation Periarticular fractures Neurovascular injury Chronic diseases of the affected shoulder
