Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age between 18 - 39 years (young adults), 40 - 59 years (middle aged adults), or 60 - 80 years (older adults) 2. Ability to comprehend and follow instructions 3. Normal lung function, confirmed by spirometry (FEV1 and FVC ratio less than or equal to 70 percent and FVC greater than 80 percent). 4. Normal vital signs
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Respiratory diseases such as asthma, interstitial lung disease, or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) 2. Neurological conditions affecting respiratory mechanics, such as hemiplegia or phrenic nerve palsy 3. Active respiratory infection 4. Recent surgery involving the thoracic or upper abdominal regions 5. Asthma screening questionnaire greater than 3 scores. 6. Current physical therapy students and physical therapists
