This study focuses on anatomical variation of the thoracic spinal pedicle in adult Thai patients. The pedicle is a critical structure for transpedicular screw fixation, a common surgical technique used to treat spine conditions such as vertebral fractures, spinal stenosis, unstable spine injuries and spinal deformities including scoliosis and kyphosis. Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who underwent Thoracic computed tomography with a slice thickness of 2 mm and had complete imaging data archived in the PACS (SYNAPSE5, version 5.7.000; FUJIFILM Worldwide) at the HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Medical Center between January 1, 2017, and January 1, 2022. 2. Thai patients aged over 18 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with abnormalities of the thoracic spine: a. Spinal fracture b. Spinal tumor c. Spinal infection d. Spinal deformity, including scoliosis e. Congenital spinal abnormalities f. Patients with a history of thoracic spine surgery 2. Patients with pathological fractures caused by other underlying conditions
