Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. A urinary albumin to creatinine ratio between 30 and 3000 mg/g, or albuminuria greater than 30 mg/L of urine or greater than 30 mcg/min 2. Having diabetes mellitus type 2 3. Previously have not used Dipeptidyl Peptidase 4 Inhibitor and Sodium-Glucose Transporter-2 Inhibitor 4. Glycosylated hemoglobin between 6.5% - 10.0% 5. Estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) greater than or equal to 30 mL/min/1.73 m2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Non-diabetic kidney disease, 2. renal transplant 3. Presence of urinary tract infection 4. Cardiovascular event or transient ischemic attack or stroke within the previous 3 months 5. Hypersensitivity to Dipeptidyl Peptidase 4 Inhibitor or Sodium-Glucose Transporter-2 Inhibitor 6. Not willing to participate 7. Pregnant females 8. Uncontrolled hyperglycaemia 9. Anti-obesity treatment
