40 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Full thickness supraspinatus or infraspinatus tear on MRI with tear size between 1 cm and 5 cm based on the DeOrio and Cofield classification with retraction grade 1 or 2 based on the Patte classification, atrophy grade 1 or 2 based on the Thomazeau classification, and fatty degeneration grade 1 to 3 based on the Fuchs Goutallier classification. 2. Age 40 to 65 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Presence of a subscapularis tear. 2. Small tear less than 1 cm or massive tear greater than 5 cm of the supraspinatus. 3. Partial thickness rotator cuff tear. 4. Revision shoulder surgery. 5. Glenohumeral arthritis or shoulder instability
