Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with mild traumatic brain injury mTBI caused by an accident with a Glasgow Coma Scale score of 13 or higher and with the injury occurring within one month prior to enrollment. Patients must be neurologically stable with pupils equal in size between 2 to 4 millimeters reactive to light and able to move upper and lower extremities on command with motor power grade 5 2.Adults between 18 and 60 years old 3.Hemodynamically stable with no signs of Cushing triad including heart rate between 60 to 100 beats per minute blood pressure between 90 to 140 over 60 to 90 millimeters of mercury and respiratory rate between 12 to 20 breaths per minute 4.Able to speak read and write Thai 5.First time experiencing traumatic brain injury from an accident 6.Having a clear predetermined discharge plan 7.Having access to a home telephone or mobile phone

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with multiple trauma involving more than two major organ systems including the respiratory system cardiovascular system gastrointestinal system genitourinary system and musculoskeletal system 2.Patients requiring brain surgery related to the current traumatic injury 3.Patients with alcohol drinking behavior assessed by the Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test AUDIT with a score of eight or higher indicating harmful or hazardous drinking 4.Patients with a history of substance use within one year before enrollment including cannabis methamphetamine cocaine opium and its derivatives such as morphine and heroin and inhalants such as thinner or glue 5.Patients previously diagnosed with a psychiatric disorder before the traumatic brain injury 6.Patients with cognitive impairment at baseline assessed using the Mini Cog test with a total score of fewer than three
