Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18 years or more 2. Histologically confirmed advanced gastric adenocarcinoma (unresectable, recurrent, or metastatic) 3. Availability of baseline contrast-enhanced abdominal CT including the L3 vertebral level performed within 90 days of diagnosis 4. Availability of laboratory results (serum albumin and lymphocyte count) within 14 days of diagnosis for PNI calculation 5. Documented follow-up data for survival outcome

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Incomplete demographic or clinical data (e.g., missing height or weight for SMI calculation) 2. Poor-quality or incomplete CT imaging not suitable for muscle segmentation Missing essential laboratory parameters for PNI computation 3. Presence of another active malignancy within 5 years (except adequately treated in-situ carcinoma or non-melanoma skin cancer) 4. Acute infection or inflammatory condition at time of lab testing that may significantly affect PNI values

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Prevalence of Sarcopenia Any timepoint Define by SMI

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Association of SMI and Overall survival End of Study Muslce area by CT devide by square of height. / Death status,Association of PNI and Overall survival End of Study PNI is calculated based on Albumin and Lymphocyte count.
