Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Infants with gestational age at birth between 28 and 32 weeks 2.Age greater than or equal to 14 days after birth, with a body weight at enrollment greater than or equal to 1,000 grams 3.Infants who have received enteral feeding (either orally or via oro-gastric tube) of at least 120 mL/kg/day
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Unstable vital signs, including: 1.1 Hypotension defined as mean arterial blood pressure below the 5th percentile for gestational age/postnatal age, requiring inotropic drugs or inhaled nitric oxide 1.2.Intubated with high respiratory support (FiO2 > 0.6 or mean airway pressure >16 cmH2O) 1.3 infants with lower respiratory support settings are eligible for the study 2.Severe congenital anomalies, including: 2.1 Severe lethal congenital anomalies such as anencephaly, trisomy 13, trisomy 18 2.2 Congenital heart disease except patent ductus arteriosus and atrial septal defect 2.3 Hydrops fetalis 3.Congenital skin abnormalities or skin infections, 3.1 Aplasia cutis with skin involvement >10% of body surface area 3.2 Abdominal wall defects such as omphalocele or gastroschisis 4.Gastrointestinal diseases requiring surgery or affecting bowel movement and nutrient absorption, including: 4.1 Congenital diaphragmatic hernia, hiatal hernia, tracheoesophageal fistula 4.2 Protein-losing enteropathy 4.3 Biliary atresia 4.4 Duodenal, jejunal, or ileal atresia; Hirschsprung disease 4.5 Surgical necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) 4.6 Diagnosed short bowel syndrome or intestinal resection with risk of short bowel syndrome 5. Infants with implanted electronic devices, such as pacemakers 6. Infants at risk of bone fracture such as osteopenia of prematurity, osteogenesis Imperfecta 7. Maternal age < 18 years 8. Infants who may be involved in legal or medico-legal issues, for example cases in which there is an indication or suspicion that the pregnancy resulted from sexual assault
