Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Thai patients aged 65 years or older 2. Diagnosed with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF) and receiving apixaban therapy for at least seven consecutive days. 3.Agree to participate in apixaban adherence evaluation 4.Patients who agree to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Presence of moderate to severe mitral stenosis or mechanical prosthetic heart valve. 2. Patients with psychiatric disorders or dementia without caregiver supervision for medication adherence. 3. Patients unwilling or unable to maintain intravenous access for 3 hours or to undergo two blood samplings as required by the study protocol.
