Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients diagnosed by a Thai traditional medicine doctor or a Thai traditional medicine practitioner with Lom Jab Pong Haeng Knee (a traditional Thai medicine condition corresponding to unilateral knee pain) with symptoms persisting for at least 4 weeks. 2. Patients presenting with symptoms of knee osteoarthritis, assessed using the Oxford Knee Score ranging from 20 to 39 points (indicating moderate severity). 3. The skin around the affected knee is normal, with no wounds, inflammation, or any dermatological disease. 4. No other concurrent knee joint diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, gout, or septic arthritis. 5. Able to communicate in Thai. 6. Understands the study information and voluntarily agrees to participate by signing the Informed Consent Form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Currently receiving treatment for Lom Jab Pong Haeng Knee or knee osteoarthritis, or currently using any analgesic medications. 2 History of allergy to herbs or any components of the Panas Osoth Knee Poultice or the placebo. 3. Pregnant or planning to become pregnant during the study period.
