Conditions

Acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and chronic coronary syndrome (CCS) in patients requiring referral for coronary angiography or percutaneous coronary intervention (CAG/PCI). Delay CAG/PCI for patients with CAD due to limitation of current referral system in Thailand. Coronary Artery Disease, Heart Network, referral system, consultation system, health information exchange, time-to-treatment, ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction,Non-ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction,Coronary Disease

Interventions

Patients with coronary artery disease (CAD
including STEMI, NSTE-ACS, and CCS) were transferred to the referral hub hospital via the Seamless Bangkok Heart Network application.,Patients with coronary artery disease (CAD
including STEMI, NSTE-ACS, and CCS) were transferred to the referral hub hospital via the conventional referral system.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Composite proportion achieving CAG/PCI within time frames of all types of CAD patients (STEMI, NSTE-ACS, CCS) at CAG/PCI date and time Rate of achieving CAG/PCI within specific time frames of all types of CAD patients according to Thai Clinical Practice guidelines

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Rate of achieving CAG/PCI within time frame of STEMI patients at CAG/PCI date and time Rate of achieving CAG/PCI within specific time frames of STEMI patients according to Thai Clinical Practice guidelines,Rate of achieving CAG/PCI within time frame of NSTE-ACS patients at CAG/PCI date and time Rate of achieving CAG/PCI within specific time frames of NSTE-ACS patients according to Thai Clinical Practice guidelines,Rate of achieving CAG/PCI within time frame of CCS patients at CAG/PCI date and time Rate of achieving CAG/PCI within specific time frames of CCS patients according to Thai Clinical Practice guidelines,Satisfaction of patients and relatives about referral method at Discharge date after CAG/PCI 5-point Likert scale assessing satisfaction levels,Satisfaction of healthcare workers about referral method at study completion date 5-point Likert scale assessing satisfaction levels
