Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. advanced PD with disease duration more than 10 years 2. age 45 to 85 years 3. Hoehn and Yahr stage 3 to 5 4. complaint of difficulty swallowing with SDQ 1 to 10 5. stable PD symptoms for more than 3 months 6. normal hearing according to Rinne and Weber tests and 7. commitment to practicing voice therapy daily for 8 weeks
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) had other neurological damage or diseases causing swallowing disorders; (2) scored less than 19 points on the Thai Mental State Examination (TMSE); (3) had laryngeal surgery or pathology; (4) had head or neck cancer; (5) had severe temporomandibular joint disorder; or (6) were pregnant
