Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosed by a physician with type 2 diabetes mellitus within the past 12 months 2. Have glycated hemoglobin HbA1c level greater than 6 point 5 percent 3. Own a smartphone with internet access and have experience using communication applications 4. Take oral hypoglycemic agents for blood glucose control
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Unable to perform self care independently 2. Having acute severe illness requiring hospitalization
