Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: age 18 years and older. Confirmed diagnosis of Systemic Sclerosis (SSc) according to the 2013 ACR/EULAR criteria. Able to communicate and understand the Thai language. Willing to provide consent to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: History of neurological diseases affecting swallowing, such as stroke involving swallowing functions, Parkinson's disease, ALS, or multiple sclerosis. History of surgery or radiation therapy to the head, neck, or upper throat area. History of tumors in the oral cavity, pharynx, esophagus, or an enlarged thyroid. Receiving medications in the following groups: antipsychotics such as olanzapine, clozapine; tricyclic antidepressants; potassium supplements; bisphosphonates; Theophylline; and Opioids. Bed-ridden patients or those with severe limitations in normal activities, experiencing shortness of breath even at rest (NYHA functional class IV).
