Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged 60 to 95 years with ASA physical status I to III 2. undergoing hip fracture surgery under regional anesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. inability to communicate with investigators 2. Allergy to local anesthetics or opioids 3. Contraindication to peripheral nerve block 4. Pathological fracture due to malignancy 5. Chronic opioid use 6. Body weight below 40 kg 7. BMI more than 30
