Systemically healthy individuals were voluntarily included in the study. These participants were clinically diagnosed as periodontally healthy, having gingivitis, or having periodontitis. Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adults aged 18 to 70 years who were systemically healthy with sufficient proficiency in Turkish and a basic level of literacy. Participants voluntarily agreed to participate and provided written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Students enrolled in dental faculties or dental health programs practicing dentists pregnant or lactating women individuals with advanced mental retardation or cognitive or psychiatric disorders that could interfere with participation individuals unable to respond due to uncorrected hearing or visual impairments and those with severe speech disorders.
