Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients diagnosed with plantar fasciitis who had received pain medication and physical therapy for at least 6 months without improvement. 2.Patients without flatfoot deformity or gastrocnemius contracture. 3.Patients with a follow-up period of at least 3 months after surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with a history of calcaneal stress fracture, calcaneal degeneration, or previous foot surgery. 2.Patients with a history of diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, or thyroid disease.
