pre warming with cotton blanket only,30 min forced-air warming of core body (chest, abdomen, upper legs),30 min forced-air warming of both core and peripheral regions (chest, abdomen, all extremities)

20 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adults aged 20 - 75 years 2. Undergoing elective surgery under general anesthesia 3.Expected operative time more than 2 hours 4. ASA class 1-3

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Esophageal temperature monitoring not feasible 2.Emergency surgery 3.Neurosurgery cases 4. Septicemia 5. Fever more than 38 degree celcius preoperatively 6. Peripheral vascular disease 7.Hemodynamic instability 8.Pregnancy
