Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Adults (age more than 18 years) 2) Diabetes and ESKD receiving HD for more than 3 months 3) stable anti-diabetes treatment for more than 1 month 4) capillary blood glucose (CBG) level of 80 to 200 mg/dL before HD

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Unable to swallow the food 2) on steroids 3) unstable ESKD conditions, e.g., volume overload, uncontrolled blood pressure, and active infection
