Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Voluntarily agrees and provides informed consent to participate with willingness to modify lifestyle behaviors 2.Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus within the past 5 years 3.Age 30 to 70 years This range clearly differentiates type 1 and type 2 diabetes ensures ability to modify health behaviors and reduces the risk of severe comorbidities in older adults 4.No cognitive impairment in participants aged 60 years or older assessed by the Mini Cog Test score greater or equal to 3 5.Not using insulin injection for glycemic control 6.No comorbidities that interfere with intensive dietary management such as severe or unstable heart failure or recent diagnosis of ischemic heart disease within the past 6 months 7.Estimated glomerular filtration rate eGFR greater than 45 mL per min per 1 point 73 m2
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with severe diabetes complications such as end stage renal disease requiring dialysis or severe heart failure 2.Patients diagnosed with psychiatric disorders that affect decision making ability or with intellectual or cognitive impairment that may interfere with study participation 3.Pregnant women or breastfeeding mothers due to physiological and hormonal changes that may affect study outcomes 4.Patients with time constraints or responsibilities that prevent participation in training follow up or assessments throughout the 6 month study period 5.Patients currently enrolled in other health intervention research projects that may interfere with or affect the validity of study results
