Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.patients aged 55 years or older 2.moderate pain (VAS > 3) at rest or at motion 3.knee standing radiographs graded 1-3 according to Kellgren and Lawrence
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.patients who were unable to cooperate or refused to participate 2.who had received a knee injection within 3 months prior to the study 3.individuals with severe knee deformity defined as a standing tibiofemoral angle greater than 20 degrees 4.any contraindications to undergoing MRI, included the presence of an implanted cardiac pacemaker or defibrillator, internal pacing wires, or clips such as those used for cerebral, carotid, or aortic aneurysm
