Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged 18 or older. 2. Patients with chronic kidney disease on maintenance hemodialysis. 3. Patients presenting with fever or generalized chills during hemodialysis.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with trauma or burns. 2. Pregnant patients. 3. Patients with active malignancy (lung cancer, hematologic malignancy, or thyroid cancer). 4. Patients in the terminal stage of illness.
