Curcuminoids 250 mg taken orally twice a day for 3 months.,placebo taken orally twice a day for 3 months.

Age
20 Years to 45 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Males aged 20 to 45 years with abnormal semen analysis 2. abstinence period of more than 2 days but not exceeding 7 days

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Volunteers with sexually transmitted infections 2. Volunteers with a history of chemotherapy or radiotherapy 3. Volunteers with underlying diseases affecting liver function, kidney function, or blood coagulation 4. Volunteers diagnosed with biliary obstruction 5. Volunteers with abnormal liver or kidney function test results 6. Volunteers diagnosed with infertility due to specific causes, such as hormonal abnormalities, obstruction or congenital absence of the vas deferens, varicocele, or chromosomal abnormalities 7. Volunteers currently using testosterone or other male sex hormone therapies 8. Volunteers currently taking antiplatelet or anticoagulant medications 9. Volunteers who have taken antioxidant supplements within the past 3 months 10. Volunteers who have consumed turmeric extract within the past 3 months 11. Volunteers taking medications that are metabolized by cytochrome P450 enzymes (as curcumin inhibits CYP3A4 and induces CYP2A6)
