1 Years to 12 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children aged 1-12 years undergoing strabismus surgery under general anesthesia ASA physical status 1-2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.History of allergy to ondansetron. 2.Undergoing other types of surgery in addition to strabismus surgery. 3.Presence of other current ocular diseases such as keratitis or glaucoma (patients with a past history of these conditions that have completely resolved may be eligible). 4.Previous ocular surgery. 5.History of cardiovascular or neurological disorders, including: Congenital heart disease Cardiac arrhythmias (including bradycardia and QT prolongation) Epilepsy Central nervous system infections Traumatic brain injury Liver cirrhosis or hepatitis Asthma Down syndrome 6. Current use of the following medications: drugs: sodium valproate, carbamazepine, lamotrigine, levetiracetam, oxcarbazepine, ethosuximide, topiramate drugs: atenolol, bisoprolol, metoprolol Glaucoma medications: timolol Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs): fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, sertraline Bronchodilator inhalers: salbutamol
