21 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Eligible participants must be aged 21 to 60 years, receive regular hemodialysis twice weekly, have been on hemodialysis for over 3 months, have albumin levels under 3.8 g/L, and have a history of moderate to severe malnutrition according to subjective global assessment (SGA).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with comorbid conditions, such as infectious disease, malignancy, and others, a history of hospitalization within 3 months prior to nutritional intervention, and those treated with steroids and/or immunosuppressive agents were excluded from the study
