Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age 18-65 years 2.The American Society of Anesthesiologists, with physical (ASA) status I or II 3.Scheduled for elective laparoscopic gynecological surgery under general anesthesia 4.Endotracheal intubation
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient refusal 2.BMI > 35 kg/m2 3.High risk of aspiration 4.Heart block or severe cardiac conditions 5.Bradycardia (HR < 60) 6.Smoking 7.Chronic cough or recent upper respiratory tract infection (URTI) 8.Suspected difficult airways 9.Retained ETT from a prior surgery 10.Previous surgery of the oral cavity, neck 11.History of a lidocaine allergy or others anesthetic drugs allergy
