Conditions

Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related death among women worldwide. Mammography, often combined with ultrasound, is the standard diagnostic tool, with results reported using the BI-RADS system. At Lampang Hospital, increasing demand has led to mammography waiting times of up to five months, delaying diagnosis in 40% of breast cancer cases. An urgent queue system was implemented to prioritize patients with palpable breast masses
