Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Male or female aged 55 to 80 years 2. Body mass index (BMI) over 23 kg per m2 3. With or without diabetes mellitus Inclusion criteria for participants/normal volunteer group for GI index test 1. Age 55 years or older 2. No history of obesity or diabetes mellitus 3. No diseases or medications that interfere with digestion or nutrient absorption 4. No history of allergy or other abnormal reactions when consuming the product or any of its components 5. Not currently pregnant or breastfeeding

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Presence of severe underlying diseases, such as cancer requiring ongoing treatment, or serious diseases of the cardiovascular, pulmonary, hepatic, or central nervous systems, or severe infectious diseases within 1 year prior to study initiation 2. History of surgery or severe illness within 2 weeks prior to study participation 3. History of allergy or adverse reactions to the product or any of its components 4. Pregnant or breastfeeding women 5. Patients with diabetes mellitus who are taking three or more antidiabetic medications, or with poorly controlled diabetes (HbA1C over 10) 6. Patients diagnosed with gastroparesis
