Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Sitting balance scale Before, after 1st session, and after 10th sessions 11 categories using a five-point scale to measure various functional abilities related to sitting balance

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Craniovertebral angle Before, after 1st session, and after 10th sessions Calculated by measuring the angle between a horizontal line through the C7 spinous process and a line extending from the C7 spinous process to the tragus of the ear,Forward shoulder angle Before, after 1st session, and after 10th sessions The angle between a vertical line passing through the C7 spinous process and a line extending from the spinous process of C7 to the point of the acromion process,Thoracic kyphosis index Before, after 1st session, and after 10th sessions Measures the kyphotic curvature of the thoracic spine in the sagittal plane between the T2 and T12 vertebral bodies,Barthel index Before, after 1st session, and after 10th sessions Measures a person's ability to perform basic activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility,Functional ambulation category Before, after 1st session, and after 10th sessions Functional walking test that assesses ambulation ability,Basic safety assessment 1st session to 10th sessions Adverse events related to the use of the 8-figure shoulder orthosis : Skin irritation, Redness, Abrasion wound, Increased shoulder or back pain, Swelling, Numbness, or Worsening motor power
