Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18 years and older, of both male and female genders. 2. Asians with Fitzpatrick Skin Type IV-V. 3. Diagnosed with melasma by medical professional. 4. Patients with melasma lesions on both sides of the face. 5. Patients who voluntarily consent to participate in the study and agree to undergo laser treatment at the specified sites according to the research methodology.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding. 2. Patients with a dermatitis on the face. 3. Patients with a history of using hormones or birth control pills within the past 3 months. 4. Patients who have undergone facial laser treatment within the past 6 months. 5. Patients who have received topical or oral medication for melasma treatment within the past 3 months. 6. Patients who have undergone facial laser treatment for melasma within the past 3 months. 7. Patients with a diagnosed psychiatric disorder, confirmed by a psychiatrist. 8. Patients who do not consent to having their photos taken for treatment evaluation purposes.
