Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Obstetric patients who schedule for postpartum tubal sterilization during the postpartum hospitalization stay following vaginal delivery. 2. All patients should fast follow the ASA guidelines. 6-8 hours for solids, and 2 hours for liquids. 3. ASA physical status I-III
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient refusal to participate in this study 2. Age <18 years 3. History of upper gastrointestinal surgery
