Interventions

The intervention group receives dexmedetomidine 10 micrograms diluted in 10 milliliter of normal saline administered intravenous over 10 minutes after spinal anesthesia.,The control group receives 10

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty under spinal anesthesia at Samut Prakan Hospital 2. Age between 55-85 year-old 3. ASA physical status I-II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who have history of heart disease, respiratory disease, neuromuscular disease. 2. Patients who have BMI more than 30 kg/m2 3. Patients who have body temperature less than 35 or more than 38 degree celsius
