Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria of this study are: Patients undergoing elective metabolic bariatric surgery as listed in 3.1 18 to 65 years old

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant History of previous bariatric surgery/ procedure Patients with underlying IHD, CKD stage IIIB and above, hypothyroidism Patients develop post-surgical complications/ infection Patients who have active infection/ inflammation (e.g. urti, ssi) in a period of one week before taking blood.
